We target, design and apply for grants based on programs that fit your needs and capabilities. Magellan builds grant strategies on your terms from a range of federal, regional and state programs. We’ve built our team with staff that lead funding programs at the Federal Communications Commission, Rural Utilities Service and Economic Development Administration.
The Broadband ReConnect Program furnishes loans and grants to provide funds for the costs of construction, improvement, or acquisition of facilities and equipment needed to provide broadband service in eligible rural areas.
The RUS electric program’s annual $5.5 billion loan allows utilities to finance rural electric infrastructure for smart grid, fiber to the meter and support deployment of broadband, using low-cost funding with a loan term of up to 35 years.
Public or private schools (K-12), libraries, and groups of schools and libraries (e.g., consortia, districts, systems) can apply for discounts on eligible services, such as internet access, telecommunications services and related equipment.
We work with numerous regional and state programs to fund broadband and fiber infrastructure. Contact us for a free broadband funding assessment of your community to find out how much is available today.
